Welcome to this supporters website for the British and Lions Tour to New Zealand. Here you can find most of the info that you'll need to know about this years autumn tests. Apart from travel, as if your going, I'm jealous which means I will not help you, and two, I haven't got a clue. But please enjoy this website anyway... And if you feel the need, you can certainly visit he official sponsors of the tour by clicking on their respective logos on the right.

After the huge success of the travelling Lions supporters to Australia in 2001, the tour to New Zealand in 2005 promises an extravaganza of rugby mixed with a dash of true competition both on and off the field.

There will certainly be a couple of major differences between the 2 tours.

Firstly, rugby in Australia is a 'second rate' sport that lags somewhere behind swimming. By contrast, rugby in New Zealand is a passion and the All Blacks supporters are extremely unforgiving if their side fails.

Secondly, the stadiums of New Zealand are much smaller than those in Australia - the 3 test matches are being held at Westpac Trust Stadium - Christchurch (capacity - 34,500), Jade Stadium - Wellington (capacity - 36,500) and Eden Park - Auckland (capacity - 50,000).
